It is officially summer! Boys are having a great time already and I feel like we are spending lots of quality time together even though we are busy as can be!!!!
Everett and Ashton finished up baseball spring season last week! Ashton recieved a trophy and was super excited!! Everett's team did great this year but unfortunately were knocked out of the tournament. It was a tough loss becasue we all new the boys could play better than what they had that night, but the boys were pleased with making it that far! They each recieved a medal.
(Ashton is batting and Everett is catching)
One of the coaches told Everett "you are still one of my favorite players out here". That melts my heart to hear that :) Everett responded with "if I see you around next season, I might just buy you a hotdog"...LOL They have a long standing joke about hotdogs and how many Everett eats in a season (but I think Ashton may break his record).
Everett is turning 9 on Sunday.......I can't believe it! I am so proud at how much he has accomplished so far and look forward to the many more accomplishments he will make!!! He is having 2 friends from school come over and spend the night. They are having a pool party at Scott & Tammy's house (thanks guys!) and ordering pizza then coming home for cake and then it is party time in the basement with movies. Tomorrow morning is Tim's Bakery donuts for breakfast then UNLIMITED GAMES OF LAZER TAG!!!!!
After the boys leave we head up to Remington for Aunt Danah's Baby Shower!!!! Aunt Julie is hosting it at her house and the theme is "What will it Bee" yellow, black, grey, and white colors. Baby will be here in August!!!
(Ashton can't wait for the baby to "come out")!!!!
Then turn around and come back for a lake party in the evening....didn't I say we were busy busy busy..!!!!
Everett made swim team and starts Monday! He is so excited but also nervous......he doesn't think he is good as the others but the coach came over and met him and watched him swim and said he is more than ready!!! Here we go......swim practice 3-4 nights a week for 90 minutes and meets on Saturday's. I am officially a "soccer mom" except it is with baseball and swimming LOL! Everett has NO interest in soccer after his 1st attempt and all the kids on his team were deaf......I think I signed him up for the deaf team somehow, he was 4 years old and pissed that the kids wouldn't talk to him HA!
